The Queensland Resources Council (QRC) has welcomed the release of more than 3 000 km2 of land in parts of south-west and central Queensland for gas exploration.

Buffalo Coal subsidiary granted 30-year mining right.
Buffalo Coal’s 70%-owned subsidiary, Zinoju Coal, has been granted a 30-year mining right to mine coal primarily from the Aviemore North Adit reserves, in Dundee, in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province.
Zinoju holds a 100% interest in the Aviemore anthracite mine.
