BHP Billiton, the world’s largest miner, has reached an option agreement with Encounter Resources Limited on the 4,500 square kilometer Elliott copper mine project in the Northern Territory by the Australian exploration company.

Russia: Global oil inventories are falling.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that global crude oil inventories fell by 45 million barrels in August after a reduction of 34 million barrels in July. It is expected that by the second quarter of 2021, oil demand will fully recover from the impact of the epidemic.
